Freeway Entertainment Group has today launched a new dedicated Spanish division, Freeway Spain.

Set-up in 2001 with a head-office in Hungary, Freeway Entertainment Group has become a key player in the international entertainment industry as distributor and as provider of collection account management services.  Operating across major territories including North America, Europe, Australasia and Latin America, the company specialises in acquiring and selling entertainment assets, providing secured revenue collection and administration solutions to rights holders in film and television and providing back office services for the management of entertainment assets.

Freeway Co-CEO Cecile Huberts said: “In past years, Freeway has become increasingly active in Southern European and Latin American markets. This market is highly active - in Spain alone, more than 50 international co-productions are made every year. By setting up new dedicated offices in Barcelona and Madrid, we will be able to work more closely with our Spanish and Portuguese business partners, to further expand our activities in distribution in the South European and Latin American markets.”
