We have the opportunity to applaud our clients on not less than four motion picture projects that took a total of six Golden Globes from yesterday’s award ceremony.
The WWI drama 1917 directed by Sam Mendez was nominated in three categories and realized two wins: one for Best Picture and one for Best Director.
Joker continues its walk of glory by snitching two wins out of the four nominations: Best Actor in the Drama section went to Joaquin Phoenix and Best Original Score to Hildur Guðnadóttir.
The Best Actress award in the same section was received by Renée Zellweger for her performance in Judy, the biopic about Judy Garland and The Farewell, which was a strong contender in the Foreign Language category, eventually took the Globe for for Awkwafina’s performance in the Chinese family dramedy in the Musical or Comedy slot.
Our team is extremely privileged to be able to work with the people who breathe life into these stories and work hard for these achievements. Let us congratulate you and wish you many more acknowledgements for the rest of the award season!
