This year’s Oscar nominations have got pulses racing by highlighting an exciting range of films and creative talent.
After winning a Golden Globe, The Favourite continues its awards journey, leading all films alongside Roma with 10 nominations apiece.
Green Book and The Wife which have both scored a Golden Globe are also in the competition for the Oscar. Green Book has received nods in six categories, for Best Film, Best Best Supporting Actor (Mahershala Ali), Best Film Editing, Best Actor (Viggo Mortensen) and Best Original Screenplay; and The Wife is in the run for Best Actress (Glenn Close).
We hope 2019 will be another strong year for Cold War that has won for Best Director at the Cannes Festival in 2018, and that the year will bring great successes to At Eternity's Gate and First Reformed that have been nominated for Best Actor (Willem Dafoe) and Best Original Screenplay.
